I am seeing different typed of HDMI cable? - hdmi cable types
I have a new Sharp Aquos LC32D62U, has the 2 HDMI connections. I get an upscaling DVD player, do not come with an HDMI cable.
First, what the hell does that mean?
"HDMI 1.3a Category 2 Certified Cable 28AWG"
Are there different types? and as I said that I need and what is the difference between them?

They are different!
HDMI 1.3a cables have a bandwidth much higher than the 1 HDMI cable ....
And for more details, less signal loss and fewer packets get encrypted on your TV .... and this means that the blocks of video REBUILT by data packets in the 2 or 3, the results achieved in several blocks in the video or still images ....
